Watedorf

The largest city to the east of the sea boasts Misteria’s most prominent fishing port. Should you decide to stroll through the port, the scent of sea life will accompany you for days. Adjacent to the port is a shipyard renowned for crafting sea vessels of all sizes. The port area itself takes up about a third of the city, with numerous homes constructed on platforms above the harbor. Originally, only a few homes were built over the water, but with the Watedorf’s expansion into the sea, this began to change.

Those fortunate enough to possess actual land within the city have erected sturdy brick buildings, as wooden homes in the past were susceptible to arson for extortion purposes. Today, buildings are so densely packed that the sole means of reaching them is by boats from beneath. This compelled many of the poor to establish a vast slum beneath the city. On the land side of Watedorf, tenements dominate the landscape, often growing up to four stories in height. Many of these buildings are adorned with lavish decorations, featuring coats of arms as their primary emblem. Near the forest, a castle overlooks the city with its numerous towers. Rumors have circulated about a large fleet under construction in the harbor, seemingly intended for an upcoming expedition.
