Moleogres

There’s a blind beast that resides in the mountains, and it has a voracious appetite for anything it can find. There are reports of these creatures, known as moleogres, causing havoc by damaging and devouring homes, consuming everything from leftover food to wooden planks and even roof tiles if they’re still hungry. Since they can’t see, Moleogres depend on their sense of smell and sound to get by. Some folks think they might be a type of a Beastly with unusually low intelligence, but that’s just a derogatory joke.

Appearance: These enormous creatures stand at around 10 feet (3.5 meters) tall, and they boast significant strength, surpassing that of bear. Their facial features resemble those of a mole, featuring a pointed face with a nose at the end and prominent whiskers sprouting from it. Despite their ability to stand upright for extended periods, their feet are not well-suited for this posture. Their bodies are encased in loose, saggy skin, with tufts of hair scattered sporadically across their form. Their hands are equipped with thick membranes that stretch between their fingers.

Abilities:

  • Blindness – These creatures cannot see and rely on hearing and ground vibrations to spot their enemies. They often attack aimlessly in hopes of landing a hit. There is a 30% chance to miss the attack.
  • Hearing – When the creature’s enemies become quiet it will stand still and wait for sounds to locate their target. However, if attacked, it will focus on the attacker and land its hits, ignoring the 30% chance to miss.
