Bramblesnaps (Tigrisnebular evanescente)

While traveling through the Zatara Jungle, you might occasionally hear a loud and distant snap. These sounds are created by bramblesnaps, agile tiger-like creatures capable of changing their color to blend into the jungle’s growth. They are considered the apex predators of the region and typically lead solitary lives, except during the mating season when they gather in large groups, numbering in the tens. Bramblesnaps possess jaws with tremendous strength, capable of piercing even metal. When they move through foggy areas, their fur displays a dazzling array of colors, making them a valuable target for those daring enough to hunt them. They are hunters, pursuing any moving prey, yet they also display restraint by avoiding confrontations with larger groups of animals they cannot overpower.

Appearance: These creatures have a slim body, standing at about 4 feet (1.5 meter) tall and measuring 7 feet (2.5 meter) in length. Their bodies are covered in short fur that can display a variety of colors when observed in the wild. One of their remarkable abilities is the capacity to change their fur’s color at will, allowing them to blend seamlessly into their surroundings. Their elongated heads make up a significant portion of their body length, featuring long jaws equipped with numerous sharp fangs, with two additional muscles on the surface to facilitate powerful closing force. Bramblesnaps have three eyes, with one positioned at the center of their head, and they possess a cat-like nose located beneath their eyes. Their legs are robust and end with retractable claws that are used to dismember their prey after it has been subdued by their powerful jaws. At the tail’s end, there’s a small tuft of hair, adding to their distinctive appearance.
