Acropol
The largest and most renowned port on the Burgos island is also one of the most well-known ports on the Raging Sea. Sailors frequently make stops here as they traverse the sea on their way to Agadesh in Kambala. Acropol, serving as the island’s capital, boasts a substantial port nestled deep within the bay. This port can accommodate hundreds of ships. However, due to the harbor’s location behind the overhanging rocks, some larger vessels have to anchor in the outer port, farther from the city center.
A road leads from the outer port to the main town, where an inn called the Prism stands. This inn is exceptionally popular among sailors. Positioned upon the rock formation known as the Gate of Burgos are many beautiful homes, including a glass lighthouse at the center. Beyond this area lies a large harbor that stretches toward the rock walls marking the boundaries of the commercial district.
Higher up on the rocky terrain, one encounters the heart of the city, where homes, workshops, and other structures can be found. The buildings, similar to those in Worgos, are typically plain yet colorful, with decorative elements concentrated in woodwork. However, what truly sets Acropol apart is its reputation for exquisite glasswork. Ornaments made from this material are common throughout the city, including stunning stained glass windows that grace various structures.
The lighthouse is a particular delight in Acropol. At sunrise, its many colorful beams of light illuminate the entire city, creating a captivating spectacle. Conversely, at sunset, these lights welcome exhausted fishermen as they return home for the night.
