Nasara Forest
Great Nasara Forest is home to a wide range of creatures that come in various shapes, sizes, and colors. The forest experiences all seasons almost equally, except for winter, which lasts a little over a month. As a result, the forest undergoes a steady transformation in its primary color throughout the months, adorned with continuous splashes of flowers that seem to defy the natural order. This, in turn, leads to a captivating array of animals that display striking and vibrant colors rather than subdued ones. Deeper within the forest, you can encounter meadow bears, flower deer, Nasaran bees, and birds such as swallows and parrots, with the majority being of the green variety.
The plant life in this region is diverse, featuring mosses, lichens, and mushrooms that thrive abundantly. In the northern part of the forest, you’ll find numerous redwood trees and massive growths, with mushrooms towering over 5 feet in height. In this area, where everything appears slightly larger, fogs are a daily occurrence, much like in the central Mebelands. On the southern side of the forest, where most of the routes pass, the plant life is more modest, characterized by widespread trees with gnarled branches. Wild Virdlings residing in these lush growths tend to attack anything that moves through the area, making transportation very challenging and almost impossible for horse-drawn carriages.
