Red addaxes (Cervus rubspiralis

Red addaxes, closely related to deer, are inhabitants of Badlands. Their distinctive features include their beautiful reddish fur and their spiral horns, which they occasionally employ for self-defense when threatened.

These creatures have adapted to their challenging environment, primarily feeding on the sparse grasses that manage to grow in these unforgiving place.They are often spotted in larger groups, typically numbering around 10 individuals. These groups roam the arid landscape in search of food and water.

Efforts have been made in the past to hunt red addaxes for their valuable fur, but their homeland is notoriously difficult to traverse. Consequently, their skins have become an exceptionally expensive luxury item sought after by collectors and traders.

Appearance: These creatures, akin to antelopes, stand at a height of 4 feet at the shoulders (1.22 meters). They boast a coat of short hair, adorned with a distinctive reddish and orange pattern, with brighter discolorations along their backs. Their antlers form near-perfect spirals, resembling corkscrews. Their hooves are brown and pointed, featuring a white patch around the ankle.
