Two-horned rhinos (Rhinoceros cornuscinditur)
Two-horned rhinos are formidable and swift herbivores with a history of causing significant turmoil in settlements. Today, they exist as a mere shadow of their former selves, having been largely eradicated from regions close to inhabited cities. Nonetheless, these creatures serve as a persistent reminder of the challenges they once presented to Human settlers.
In the early days of Kambala’s colonization, two-horned rhinos were notorious for their relentless attacks on settlements, resulting in the loss of thousands of lives annually. Their aggression towards Humans persists even today, with most individuals attacking Humans on sight. This relentless threat forced people to embark on extensive extermination efforts that spanned hundreds of years, ultimately leading to their diminished numbers.
Currently, many two-horned rhinos have relocated to regions closer to swamps, with a substantial population occupying the western peninsula of the Kabala Kingdom, an area devoid of human habitation. What is particularly remarkable is their peaceful coexistence with other races, such as the Beastly, Virdis, and Artifex, who live harmoniously alongside these creatures. This contrasts sharply with their historically hostile interactions with Humans.
Of note, the skin of two-horned rhinos is highly valued for its unique properties, as it can be crafted into leather armor that rivals the hardness of metal.
Appearance: Standing 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall and stretching 14 feet (4 meters) in length, they tip the scales at approximately 6000 pounds (2700 kilograms). These creatures sport a slim hide with a grayish hue, featuring two front-facing horns that spread 90 degrees apart on their heads. These horns continue to grow throughout their lives, with some individuals boasting lengths exceeding 3 feet (90 centimeters). Beneath their hide, they possess a thick, nearly impenetrable layer, resistant even to bullets. Frequently adorned with scars and hairless patches due to their constant battles, they are rugged and formidable creatures.

Skills: Athletics +2, Resistance +3
Abilities:
- 2A Trample – The creature lifts its front legs up and stamps on its enemies. It rolls for Attack check and those that it hits in its close proximity are trampled. They receive damage equal to 2D10 higher + creature’s Body and have to attempt an Athletics check on difficulty 9. If they fail they are knocked to the ground.
- 2A Charge – The creature charges a line of enemies and attacks all of them once with its horns. If it fails any of the Attack checks it stops its charge on that enemy.
- Impenetrable – The creature’s skin is Impenetrable similarly to armor with that trait, so all attacks, even those from weapons with the Penetrating trait, deduct the creature’s Toughness from the inflicted damage.
