Spumers (Hirudines decidesuper) 

The spumers are an unusual and enigmatic species with a distinct hunting strategy. They suspend themselves from tree branches, dropping onto unsuspecting victims to latch onto them with a leech-like bite. What sets them apart from conventional leeches is their remarkable ability to become invisible through a mesmerizing charm, which they use to ensnare their prey. This sinister charm induces hallucinations in the unfortunate victim, ultimately leading to their demise.

One distinguishing characteristic of spumers is the bubbling sound they emit, which serves as an audible warning signal. This unique feature can be heard from a considerable distance and potentially provides victims with a chance to evade falling into their trap.

Junkies of Zatara can be seen using them as their drug of choice. They mess with your head after many uses.

Appearance: The main portion of their body resembles a bell with suctions around the opening. At the top there is a small torso with four legs and a head. When they finish feeding they usually climb up the tree and wait for another prey.

Abilities:

• Hypnosis – The creature attempts to charm their enemies with magic while attacking. When positioned directly above a target, they can cast a charm spell. If the potential victim fails to resist the enchantment with a Magic resistance check of 6, they remain oblivious to the presence of the enchanting creature that laches onto its enemy. For every hour that one of these creatures remains attached to any other creature, the victim gradually loses 1 Life point. During this time, they endure vivid hallucinations, resulting in a -5 penalty to all of their actions. Once the enchanting creature is removed, it imparts 1 Fatigue point to its victim.
