Welcome to online manual for Haze: The Crystal Mist Adventure
We are pleased to present our Haze TTRPG. This website functions like a regular printed RPG manual, giving you access to everything you need to play. All essential components — such as character sheets, maps and other printables — are available in the Talemaster’s Guide section.
This project is continuously growing, so changes, updates and new content will be added regularly.

Below you can find the contents of each chapter. While this game is for everyone, some of its sections are solely dedicated to GMs. It is highly advisable that players avoid reading the Talemaster’s chapter, as it contains information that could impact their future games:
> Character Creation: The first chapter contains all the information needed to create your first character, including descriptions of races, attributes, skills, development trees, and what a breakthrough is. There is an example of how character creation works and guidance on what goes where on the character sheet.
> Game Mechanics: This chapter covers the basic mechanics, combat and more in-depth information related to faith, magic and science. Basics and combat are crucial for players to read, as it provides the knowledge of how the game works, enabling them to play easily. It includes information about skill checks, factors impacting their difficulty, how combat is structured and details about expertise and fatigue.
In their corresponidng sections of World of Haze and Game mechanics you can find details about magic, faith and science:
> Magic / Magic – rules: Those chapters are an essential read for every spellcaster, as they contain details on how magic is structured and governed. They include information about various Spell mechanics, spellbook and knowledge about crystals, hex and artifacts, including how they are made and under what conditions.
> Faith / Faith – rules: If someone wants to play as a priest or a talemaster, these are their chapters. They provide information about the pantheon of gods, their demands, domains, a list of Miracles and Tales, and a section regarding relics.
> Science / Science – rules: Those chapters are mandatory for every gunslinger and scientist, as they delve into advancements in technology and cover details about guns and their repairs. They touch on mechanics of Crafts and the challenges of blending magic and technology.
> Equipment: This section is dedicated to economy and equipment. It provides details about the currencies used worldwide, information about item availability, quality, and pricing, along with item descriptions and properties.
> World of Haze: This is the most extensive chapter of this manual, dedicated to the world in which the game is set. It provides information about the southern continent known as Misteria, including details about each region’s cultures, economy, population and local fauna and flora.
> Talemaster’s guide: It is recommended to read this chapter if you plan to be the game master. This chapter provides information, advice and suggestions on how to run a game and ready-made advantures.
